DESCRIPTION
“Diversity” is a built in topic for discussion in each poem because it explores the deep thoughts unspoken that are revealed when we stop to venture further into our own imagination while reading each poem. These poems are about the celebration of differences, trials and tribulations; they touch all aspects of life with each of us. In my poems I attempt to unveil and illustrate expressions of deep thought whether the feeling is good or not so good.

I am a poet with a true compassion for poetry. I have written my poems with thoughts, which provokes deep feelings about life’s diversities; these thoughts relate differently to each individual’s personal experiences. I am sharing these thought provoking experiences with you. The poems reflect trials and tribulations in my life and those that you may relate to in your life. Based on your experiences in life, you may read more into some poems than others.

I have written and published poetry on other occasions. One of my most popular poems, “Destiny” is published in the book entitled: “Poetry in Motion”, by: The Poetry Guild in 1998 (Page 186). Other popular and well versed poems, “Color Me” and “Beautiful Black Children” named in the compilation “Heads Up High”, is published in an assortment of poems complied and edited by: Lt Deborah Jackson in approximately 1983; this work of art is entitled: “Perspectives”.
